error message

I'm trying to install SQL Server 2000 with sp3 so I can move our existing
Data Base to a new server, But I keep getting this error - Error running
script:sp3_serv_uni.sql(1). I've tried sp4 but same thing. What is it
looking for that it's not finding?
Suggestions:There should be a corresponding .out file with some more details...please
find that and post the relevant portion(s)

First says " SuperSocket info(spnregister): Error 1355"
Second "19012 SuperSocket Info: Bind failed on TCP port 1433"
Meaning?

The server could not load DCOM.
Please help if you know something about this. It sounds like one of the
drives in the old server is ready to die, time is of the essence.
