Error on Importing datather PRIMARY FILE GROUP IS FULL

I am trying to import data from one table to another on different servers.
Could not allocate space for object microfilmacion in database Dbsiab
because ther PRIMARY FILE GROUP IS FULL
As the message is indicating, your primary file group where the table exists
is full. You will have to set the file to autogrow, if it isn't already (see
ALTER DATABASE in Books Online). Also, make sure, you have enough free space
on your data disk.

a section at the top titled "NewsGroups". Normally it will fill in the name
of the group in which you are currently in but you can click on the Icon to
the left of it and choose all the groups you wish this post to appear. Then
when someone answers in one newsgroup it will appear in all of them.

Error occuring when seeking to backup of transaction log with no_truncate

Dear Group,
I had a database failure and tried to backup the last few
transactions in the log file using the no-truncate option
and it failed with the following error statement
"could not open fcb for invalid file ID 0 in database ..."
I am running SQL Server Enterprise Edition on Windows 2000
Server with SP 4 installed.
SQL Server has SP3 installed.
I have never seen this problem previously.
Just before I tried this operation I installed the latest
Windows Updates for Windows 2000.
Any thoughts.

this indeed is SQL2K, and the ldf files are healthy, I suggest you open a case with MS...

Error number: 1105 the primary group is full

Hi i am Oscar,
I have a problem with database Subscriber. I've created this database with
2 datafile (*.mdf). the first datafile has static size and second datafile
is define with unrestrictec file growth option . the replication have been
worked all time, until the disc has fulled. How is possible that database
Published has 1928 Mb size and Subscriber database grows up a lot of?
Have i configured something in Suscriber database?

Very odd . On the subscriber are there any other tables which are not part
of the publication?
Also, please use sp_spaceused on the publisher and subscriber and post up

|||I was expecting that most of the extra space would be unallocated, but that
is simply not the case. You have 44GB more space used on the subscriber.
Perhaps it is being used for other things apart from this subscription? Or
else you are not replicating deletes, and the subscriber holds all the
original data, much of which has been removed from the publisher?

Error moving sql server resources

Hi,
I am having a problem when I try to move resource (sql server service) from
one group to another. Moving other resources works fine but not SQL. I have
two SQL server s 2000 sp3a on two win 2003 servers on an active/passive
mode.
I got two error messages:
"Cluster resource SQL Server (inst01) timed out. If the pending timeout is
too short for this resource, consider increasing the pending timeout value"
"Cluster resource 'SQL Server(insto1)' in Resource Group "GroupSqlServer"
failed"
Any idea why this happen?

So, you are running two instances on a single node, using the second node
merely as a warm standby server?
May I ask how much memory you have installed on this system and how much is
allocated to each SQL Server instance?
Also, are you using AWE configuration?
A couple of things, when you move resources, you are telling SQL Server to
come offline. It must checkpoint the system. If the system is active,
there will be a lot of dirty data pages that must be flushed to stable
media. Furthermore, if you are running AWE, then when SQL Sever comes
offline, not only do dirty data pages must be flushed, SQL Server will also
"zerro-out" the AWE memory as well. If this of any appreciable size, this
will also take some additional time.
To fix the problem, increase the Pending Timeout value in the SQL Server
cluster resource to avoid the failure. Basically speaking, this is normal
activity for a large and/or busy system.
FIX: The SQL Server cluster resource may be marked as Fail when you try to
take it offline

been receiving for the last few months.
Anyways, when I startup the enteprise manager on a SQL server 7 database
that is running on a windows 2000 advanced server, I get the following error
message when I click on the database icon and begin the connect process to
the databases that reside on this server:
SQL server \\srv2000 is not known to be running. Are you sure you wish to
connect?
The icon that represents the databases has a red lightening bolt through it.
When I do say yes to this question, the icon still has the lightening bolt,
but I can see the databases. I can connect and see the data. The clients
that access these databases can connect with no problems. I only see the
above error message when I connect through enterprise manager. The other
tools (DTS services and Query Analyser) has not problems connecting to the
same databases either locally or over the network.
What is causing this error message to pop up and what can I do about this
problem?

Error message using "Copy Database Wizard"

Any advice from the crowd? Every time I try to run "Copy Database
Wizard" I get an error message saying I must be a member of the
sysadmin group and have permission to copy files over the network. I'm
a local admin on both boxes and a member of the sysadmin group on both
SQL servers and an admin on the network. What am I missing here?

Error Message "Key Sequence columns are not supported at the case level"

Hi group,
I was trying to build a sequence clustering model in MSAS.
I could deploy the model. Then while building the model, I end up getting an error with message "Key Sequence columns are not supported at the case level".

Can some one tell me what it means and how i can avoid it?

The Microsoft_Sequence_Clustering algorithm requires the sequence
information to be modeled as a nested table so you can only have a nested table column with Content=Key Sequence (right-click on the column in the Mining Structure tab and look at the Properties pane).

In the above case, you will have a case level key that uniquely identifies a sequence set (modelled as multiple nested table rows) and you'll need to mark that with Content=Key and IsKey=True.|||Thanks for your suggestion Raman.
I have made the change that you have suggested and proceeded to the processing step.

Hmm, the processing fails with error msg:
"OLE DB or ODBC error: A column has been specified more than once in the order by list. Columns in the order by list must be unique.; 42000."

The "Key sequence" column in the nested table has been used twice in a query. Query attached in the end for reference.
What could be the cause for this? / How do i make AnSer stop generating this wrong query?

FYI.. the "Key Sequence" column in the nested table has a FK relationship with the "Key" column of the case table.

The processing fails because it runs the query:
SELECT
[nestedTable].[col1]
,[nestedTable].[col2]
,[nestedTable].[col3]
FROM [nestedTable]
ORDER BY [nestedTable].[col1]
,[nestedTable].[col1]
--col1 is a sequence key and has FK relation with the case table.|||The "Key Sequence" is the key of the nested table, while the foreign key
should be the column you used to join case table
and nested table. These 2 columns should be 2 seperate columns in the nested
table. The following is an example:

SeqClustCase -- Case table
UserId (Key)
A1
A2

SeqClustNested -- Nested table
UserId (foreign key)
Order(Key sequence)
Sequence (sequence data)

Please try fix your data source view and mining structure according to the
above example.

Actually the foreign key column is implicitly included as part of the bindings for the nested table when you use BI Dev Studio and you don't need to specify it as a column in the nested table.

Can you please post your mining structure and model definitions?
