I am getting an error msg:
BackupMedium::ReportIoError : write failure on backup device 'D:\MSSQL$DBSQL4A\L
thats all I can see. Now thi is been running for a few weeks with no problem. Untill yesterday.
Any help appreciated.the D drive on the server may be full
You may have too many backups out there?
Just a thought.|||I did have little space there but I blew away some old backups and free up some space. Looking at previous stuff it has enough space but its still coming back with the same error.|||try saving in other location
maybe it helps|||check the event viewer on the server for both system and application errors.|||Thanks I got the issue resolved. I have deleted 2 of 5 previous backups and it worked. But it still had more than enough space before that. So I got it figured oout for now.
