We are running Access2000(front-end) SQL server (backend). When we try to
either compile or run an ADE, we receive the message "Error Accessing File.
Network connection may be lost". When you go to File-Connection-Test
Connection- the message "The connection succeeded" pops up. Any ideas on
what could be causing this error message? What can be done to repair the
database in order that this does not occur? Is it improper code written
somewhere? Is it possible that the import of a number of files were done and
only a specified number can be brought in at a time?
Your help is appreciated. When you compile an Access MDE or ADE, it only affects the front-end
-- your forms, code, reports, etc., and not the back end database. I'm
not sure what's causing the error message, but look in your code or at
your connection string.
